Central Design Bureau of Automatics (TsKBA) JSC

    It was founded on September, 10th, 1949, by the order of the minister of aviation industry as OKB-373. Since 1951 it specialized in development of radar sights for gun systems of the aircraft back hemisphere protection. In the 1960-s passive radiolocation as the main area of activities was determined.
    Up to 10 plants participated in serial production of articles developed in TsKBA. At least two TsKBA designed articles were installed on each aircraft. In 1980 the Leninsky Komsomol prize was awarded to a group of specialists for achievements in the sphere of complex miniaturization. Six developments of the enterprise were honored with the USSR State prize.
Nowadays TsKBA is a leading enterprise in Russia designing passive radar seekers for anti-radar missiles, aircraft passive radio location finding and target detection systems; seeker control equipment for anti-radar missiles; radar illumination warning stations; automatic control systems of radioelectronic complexes. Within the framework of the conversion programme it develops and manufactures: electronic tachometers and thermometers, temperature recorders, infusion syringe pumps and biomonitors for medical needs.
    TsKBA boasts unique SHF microelectronic technologies, anechoic chambers where
measurements can be made even on the fuselage of a real aircraft, stands of mathematical and semi-realistic modeling.
